OKC Dodgers: San Antonio beats OKC to win series

Tyrone Taylor had two hits and drove in a pair of runs, and the San Antonio Missions defeated the Oklahoma City Dodgers 4-1 to clinch the season-opening series Sunday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

Coming off Saturday night's 6-4 victory, San Antonio (3-1) picked up where it left off.

The Missions scored three runs in the third inning to take the lead, and held off the Dodgers' (1-3) attempts for a comeback.

Oklahoma City used four pitchers and recorded 14 strikeouts in the game. Starter Tony Gonsolin, who allowed three hits and three earned runs, fanned eight batters in his Triple-A debut.

Will Smith and Daniel Castro each had two hits for the Dodgers. Edwin Rios drove in the team's lone run.

The finale for the five-game series will be held at 11:05 a.m. Monday at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.
