Clayton Kershaw to make next rehab start in Tulsa

Clayton Kershaw is returning to Oklahoma for a second rehab start, but this time he’s taking the mound in Tulsa.

Kershaw told reporters following Sunday night’s win in Colorado that he will make his next start for the Double-A Drillers, who host Springfield at 7:05 p.m.

Kershaw, who is recovering from shoulder inflammation, pitched Thursday in Oklahoma City. He went 4 1/3 innings and allowed two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out six.

OKC opens a road trip in Omaha on Tuesday. L.A. opens a series in St. Louis on Monday.

If all goes well, Kershaw is likely to rejoin L.A.’s rotation next weekend.
