Junior defensive lineman Tyreece Lott is no longer with Oklahoma, a school spokesman confirmed Thursday.

Lott had played in 16 games over the past two seasons, including 11 in 2018 when he had nine tackles, one for a loss.

In Miami before the Orange Bowl, defensive line coach Calvin Thibodeaux said Lott had "a bright future."

Lott, an Ardmore product, was a three-start recruit out of Ardmore High School, and was a first-team Oklahoman All-State selection.

The news of Lott's departure was first reported by SoonerScoop.com.
