What to do in Oklahoma on April 14, 2019: See UCO's 'Cosi Fan Tutte' or OCU's 'Crazy for You'

EDMOND - Watch the University of Central Oklahoma School of Music present the comedic opera “Cosi Fan Tutte” at 2 p.m. today in the historic Mitchell Hall Theatre, 100 N University Drive on the UCO campus.
This humorous love story by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart has delighted audiences for more than 200 years and tells the tale of two sisters whose devotion is put to the test by their own fiancés. After wagering on the sisters’ unwavering faithfulness, the men disguise themselves as foreigners and challenge the ladies’ loyalty through attempting to steal their hearts.
UCO School of Music Assistant Director Rob Glaubitz provide stage direction, and the 30-piece orchestra is under the direction of Doug Newell, UCO theater arts adjunct instructor, according to a news release.
“Cosi Fan Tutte” is an Italian-language opera. English subtitles will be projected for the audience to follow.

See a cast of 37 Oklahoma City University students presenting the Tony Award-winning musical comedy "Crazy for You" at 3 p.m. today at OCU’s Wanda L. Bass School of Music, 2501 N. Blackwelder.
A 35-piece opera orchestra will perform George and Ira Gershwin's lyrical score of Broadway classics, including "I Got Rhythm," "They Can’t Take That Away From Me," "But Not For Me," "Embraceable You," "Nice Work if You Can Get It and "Someone To Watch Over Me."
