PORTLAND, Ore. – Thunder coach Billy Donovan said that Paul George (right shoulder soreness) will be a game-time decision ahead of Thunder-Blazers Game 1.

George was listed as questionable entering Sunday’s game. George did not play in the Thunder’s season finale Wednesday against Milwaukee and has been a light participant in the Thunder’s two days of practice on Friday and Saturday.

George said Friday in Oklahoma City he participated in practice “mentally.”

In four games this season against the Blazers, George has dominated, averaging 38 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game on 45.2/45.9/85 field goal/3-point/free throw percentage splits, including 2.75 steals per game.

Donovan said George will go through pregame workouts before a decision is made.

“He’ll go out for his normal workout, then we’ll have more detail once he gets out from there,” Donovan said.”
