Five Iowa pitchers held the Oklahoma City Dodgers to a season-low four hits, and the Cubs notched a 4-3 win Sunday at Principal Park in Des Moines, Iowa.

Oklahoma City's Kyle Garlick went 2 for 3 with a solo homer, but his teammates struggled to produce at the plate.

The Iowa bullpen had to pitch 7 1/3 innings after starter Trevor Clifton was lifted in the second due to a high pitch count.

Alberto Baldonado gave up one hit and one run in a team-high 2 1/3 frames, and earned his first win of the year.

Ben Holmes struck out five batters in five innings of two-run ball for the Dodgers (4-6). The left-hander fell to 0-1 on the year.

With the win, Iowa (7-3) took a 2-1 lead in the series.

The series finale is set for Monday at 12:08 p.m.
