Oklahoman Chris Hammons to appear on new season of 'The Amazing Race,' premiering tonight
The Emmy Award-winning "The Amazing Race" returns tonight, with a new twist and a familiar face from Oklahoma.
The theme for this season's globe-trotting TV competition is "Reality Showdown," with the show billed as the first reality showdown among some of the most memorable and competitive players from "The Amazing Race," "Survivor" and "Big Brother."
Among the competitors will be the team of Chris Hammons, 40, of Moore, and Bret Labelle, 44, of Dedham, Massachusetts, friends who were previously seen on "Survivor: Millennials vs. Gen X."
The new season of "The Amazing Race" is premiering on a new date and time at 8 tonight on the CBS Television Network. The 11 teams will compete on the 25,000+ mile journey around the world to be crowned winners of the $1 million prize. Phil Keoghan returns to host, according to a news release.
Racers, Castaways and Houseguests will not only compete for the cash prize but for bragging rights for their respective shows. Will the former Racers’ travel experience be the most helpful? Will the former Survivors’ outwit, outplay and outlast the competition? Or, will the Big Brother players’ abilities to adapt and expect the unexpected make the difference?
I guess we'll soon see.
