$10,000 reward offered in fatal Langston shooting
LANGSTON — An Oklahoma law enforcement agency is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the shooting death of a man in October.
On Oct. 20, Brandon DuPree, 19, was attending a party just off the Langston University campus. DuPree, who was not a student at the university, was from Tulsa and enrolled in a welding school at the time. He had traveled to the party with two friends and was shot once after a fight broke out, according to an Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation news release.
DuPree was being flown to an Oklahoma City hospital to be treated for his injuries but died en route.
About 150 people are thought to have attended the party but no useful information was provided to investigators.
