Three things to know

• The Sooners come into the game on a three-game losing streak, tied for their longest this season.

• The last two games of the series will be played at Target Field, the home of the Minnesota Twins. The Sooners’ last game at a MLB stadium came in 2016 when they tied Mississippi State at Dodger Stadium.

• Oklahoma and Minnesota have not played since the 1973 season. In that last meeting, future Hall of Famer Dave Winfield threw a six-hit shutout and struck out 14 Sooners in a 1-0 Minnesota win. The Sooners and Gophers all-time series is tied 10-10-1.
