The Oklahoma-made film "The Adventures of Jurassic Pet" is now available for streaming via YouTube, Google Play and Vudu and on DVD from Amazon.

As previously reported, the family/teen adventure movie tells the story of an adventurous adolescent who summons the courage to help a friendly dinosaur escape from the clutches of a mad scientist who wants to use him for experiments. It's billed as a unique mix of  “The NeverEnding Story” meets “Jurassic Park” with universal themes of teamwork, friendship and courage.

The movie stars Kyler Charles Beck (Nickelodeon’s “Dude Perfect Show”), along with central Oklahoma theater mainstays David Fletcher-Hall (“Murder Made Me Famous”) and Ben Hall (“The Posthuman Project”).

Filmed last year at multiple locations around the state with an entirely Oklahoma-based crew, “The Adventures of Jurassic Pet” marks the fourth feature film from Oklahoma-based filmmaker Ryan Bellgardt.

"As an Oklahoma native, it's an honor for me to be creating another feature film in my home state as well as introducing my great state to creators from across the globe," said Bellgardt in a statement.

Before he even started principal photography, the film had already secured international sales representation through High Octane Pictures, LLC, who has acted on behalf of previous Oklahoma-based films such as “Army of Frankensteins,” “Gremlin” and the prolific filmmaker's last prehistoric project, “The Jurassic Games,” which, as previously reported, he lensed in Oklahoma in 2017.

“The Adventures of Jurassic Pet” utilized the Oklahoma Film Enhancement Rebate Program administered by the Oklahoma Film + Music Office, according to a news release.
