Longtime Yukon baseball coach Kevin James achieved a big milestone Monday in the Millers’ 10-0 win over Putnam West.

The victory was No. 700 in James’ career.

Throughout his 30-year career, James has been an assistant at Minco and Yukon. He was also the head coach at Canute, Sayre and Plainview. This is his 12th season leading the Millers.

Yukon was 18-12 entering the District 6A-1 finale with Putnam West, which was scheduled for Tuesday.
