Two people wounded by gunfire early Sunday at northwest Oklahoma City party

Two people were wounded by gunfire at a party in northwest Oklahoma City early Sunday, and police are looking for the shooter.

About 1:25 a.m, police were called to a report of shots fired outside the Northwest Event Center, 6009 Northwest Expressway.

Two people who were at the scene had been shot, police reported. Devin Hill, 23, and Justin Ellison, 19, both of Oklahoma City, were treated for minor injuries at a hospital.

The shooter was described as a black male, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The shooter wore a dark-colored hoodie with dark pants, and drove away in a black sport utility vehicle. Police said a crowd of people inside the event center heard the gunfire outside and rushed out of the building.
