Broken Arrow's Myles Slusher commits to Oregon
Broken Arrow star safety Myles Slusher is headed to Oregon, and he made it known in a touching video about his roots.
Slusher tweeted a 2-minute video talking about coming from north Tulsa, using interviews from his friends and family to tell his story.
“Let me tell you of a story who left the state to go to college and started his own business to provide for his family and his city,” Slusher said. “Well this is that story that’s unfinished. They say home is where the heart is. I’m committed to the University of Oregon.”

The 6-foot-1, 181-pound Slusher chose Oregon over two dozen scholarship offers. In March, he narrowed his choices down to 10 schools — Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, LSU, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas A&M along with Oregon.
