Parents of children facing substance abuse issues to meet in May

The Oklahoma City Parents Helping Parents group will discuss childhood addiction issues during upcoming meetings in May.

On Thursday, Ray Baker, executive director of Patriots In Recovery Living in Edmond, will speak on "Sober Living Is More Than Living Sober."

On May 16, "Multiple Pathways Towards Healing" will be the topic, presented by Heath Hayes, director of Peer Programing and Integration at the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services.

All Oklahoma City Parents Helping Parents meetings are from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of every month in the SSM Saint Elisabeth Conference Room at SSM Saint Anthony Hospital, 1000 N Lee St.
