Oklahoma basketball has added another major non-conference game to its 2019-20 schedule.

OU and Minnesota will play Nov. 9 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

"Sanford Health is a huge proponent of college basketball and a crucial ally in the fight against cancer through their support of the Coaches vs. Cancer organization," coach Lon Kruger said in a release.

Kruger serves as council chair of Coaches vs. Cancer.

Oklahoma State played Nebraska last season at the 3,250-seat Sanford Pentagon.

It will be OU basketball's first trip to South Dakota.

The Sooners are 4-4 all time against the Golden Gophers. The two programs last met in the 2004 Great Alaska Shootout.

Oklahoma has already announced 2019-20 road and neutral site matchups against Oregon State, Creighton and Wichita State. The Sooners will also play in the Hall of Fame Classic in Kansas City alongside Missouri, Butler and Stanford.
