Lightning causes house fire overnight in Oklahoma City
Firefighters extinguished a house fire started by a lightning strike overnight in southwest Oklahoma City.
No one was injured in the fire at 8908 Charlotte Drive about 2:50 a.m., a fire department spokesman reported.
The two-story house sustained about $25,000 damage.
Severe weather moved through Oklahoma City Tuesday and early Wednesday. More storms are possible this afternoon and evening in Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reported.
Flooding is possible in eastern parts of the state Wednesday.
