Kyle Garlick hit three home runs, and the Oklahoma City Dodgers beat the New Orleans Baby Cakes 11-9 on Sunday in Metairie, Louisiana.

Garlick hit a two-run blast in the top of the 11th to help Oklahoma City (10-19) pull away.

The home run came after an RBI single by Will Smith that gave the Dodgers the lead earlier in the inning. Oklahoma City later added another run when Cameron Perkins hit a solo home run.

New Orleans (16-14) attempted a comeback in the bottom of the frame, scoring on a double by JT Riddle that brought home Yadiel Rivera. In the following at-bat, Austin Dean hit an RBI single, scoring Riddle to cut the Oklahoma City lead to 11-9. However, the rally ended when Josh Sborz struck Matt Snyder out to end the game.

The Dodgers scored one run in the 10th before New Orleans answered in the bottom of the inning when Rivera hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Lewis Brinson to tie the game 7-7.

Garlick finished with six RBIs and scored three. Perkins had two home runs.

Sborz (1-1) got the win in relief while Tommy Eveld (0-3) took the loss.
