STILLWATER — Clarence Leon Tully, a football player on Oklahoma A&M’s undefeated 1945 team, passed away on May 1 at the age of 92.

A native of Shawnee, Tully was one of only a handful of living players honored at Oklahoma State in 2016 when the AFCA national championship trophy was presented to the team. He was inducted into the Shawnee High Football Hall of Fame in September 2017.

After his football career, Tully worked in the oil field and the advertising business. He carried his love for OSU athletics throughout his life and was a season ticket holder for years with a sign reserving his parking spot outside Boone Pickens Stadium.

A link to Tully's obituary can be found here.
