Class 4A’s baseball state tournament is going back to the original location.
The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association announced Monday that Tuesday’s scheduled games were moved back to Edmond Santa Fe due to Edmond North’s field being unplayable following the weekend rain.
The tournament’s first two rounds were originally scheduled to be played at Santa Fe last week, but after a storm soaked that field it was moved to Edmond North on Friday.
But rain postponed the final quarterfinal game with Poteau leading Newcastle 4-0 after four innings. That game will resume at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
The semifinal game between Blanchard and Kingfisher follows at 1:30 p.m. The winner of Poteau and Newcastle faces Harrah at 4.
The championship will be played Wednesday at a time and site to be determined.
