11-run 7th inning leads OKC Dodgers past Round Rock Express

Matt Beaty hit a bases-clearing double in the seventh inning, leading the Oklahoma City Dodgers to a 15-6 win over the Round Rock Express in the series finale Tuesday in Round Rock, Texas.

The double by Beaty came in the midst of an 11-run inning and gave the Dodgers a 9-6 lead. Later in the inning, Oklahoma City (12-25) scored on four more plays, including two RBIs each from Drew Jackson and Daniel Castro.

Louis Head (1-0) got the win with a scoreless inning in relief while Rogelio Armenteros (1-3) took the loss.

The seven extra-base hits for Oklahoma City included a season-high six doubles.

For the Express (24-14), Kyle Tucker homered and singled, scoring two runs. Yordan Alvarez doubled twice and singled.

Despite the loss, Round Rock is 6-1 against Oklahoma City this season.

Round Rock beat the Dodgers 5-2 on Monday to win the four-game series.

Oklahoma City will return to action Thursday to open a five-game home series against the Omaha Storm Chasers. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
