Oklahoma country music superstar Blake Shelton opened tonight's episode of "The Voice" in powerhouse fashion with a hard-hitting rendition of his new country-rock single "God's Country."

It was just the beginning of the triumphs for the Ada native on "The Voice" Season 16, as Shelton goes into next week's season finale with three of the four contenders representing Team Blake.

Shelton had five singers in the Top 8, and Team's Blake's Dexter Roberts and Gyth Rigdon were sent through to the finals. Maelyn Jarmon, who is on John Legend's team, also was sent through to the last episode.

Kim Cherry and Carter Lloyd Horne of Team Blake were eliminated.

The Instant Save came down to Team Legend’s Shawn Sounds, Team Kelly Clarkson's Rod Stokes and Team Blake’s Andrew Sevener, with the latter winning the berth into the finals.

"The Voice" will return at 7 p.m. Monday, when the Top 4 will perform in the season finale.
