OSU baseball: Cowboys blast four home runs in 16-4 rout of Baylor

No. 13 Oklahoma State opened what should be the final regular-season series at its longtime stadium with a 16-4 rout of 12th-ranked Baylor on Thursday.
The Cowboys blitzed the Bears with a 13-0 lead after four innings, scoring at least one run in each of the first five innings.
Christian Funk, Colin Simpson, Bryce Carter and Cade Cabbiness each homered for OSU (31-17, 13-9 Big 12).
The Cowboys had 16 hits with three each from Carson McCusker and Funk.
Baylor starter Paul Dickens (4-2, 5.30 ERA) lasted just three innings after giving up 10 runs, nine of them earned, along with nine hits and three walks.
Joe Lienhard (3-1, 4.41 ERA) earned the win for OSU, allowing four runs in six innings.
