A person was taken to a local hospital Tuesday afternoon after their vehicle drove into a popular northwest Oklahoma City restaurant.

Just after 4:45 p.m. Tuesday, fire crews were called to the 2800 block of N Pennsylvania Avenue where a car had slammed into Rococo Restaurant & Bar, 2824 N Pennsylvania Ave. Capt. David Macy, spokesman for the Oklahoma City Fire Department, said the incident was the result from a three-vehicle collision along the busy street.

He said it appeared the vehicle was pushed into the building after the initial collision. One person was taken to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

Macy said it didn’t appear the restaurant suffered much structural damage in the incident.
