Oklahoma State’s Alix Garcia has been mostly quiet during the Big 12 Tournament, but the junior first baseman came through with a game-winning single in the bottom of the 10th inning to keep the third-seeded Cowboys’ title hopes alive.

OSU scored two in the 10th to rally for the 7-6 victory over TCU Sunday morning at the Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark

The win sends OSU into the finals against fourth-seeded West Virginia, set to begin at approximately 1 p.m.

TCU took a 6-5 lead in the top of the 10th when Austin Henry hit a solo home run.

The Horned Frogs, however, committed five errors on the day, the last of which was crucial to the Cowboy rally.

OSU’s Christian Funk single to right field, but the outfielder misplayed the ball, allowing Funk to advance to third. Andrew Navigato’s line drive hit the pitcher’s leg to score pinch-runner Noah Sifrit with the tying run.

Trevor Boone reached on an infield single, and Navigato took third on Carson McCusker’s fielder’s choice, setting the stage for Garcia.

OSU went deep into the bullpen Sunday, with Peyton Battenfield throwing the last two innings to earn the win.
