OSU extends team lead, Wolff leads Eckroat by two shots
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Oklahoma State extended its lead to 25 strokes over second-place Texas on Sunday at the NCAA Men's Golf Championships.
The Cowboys shot a 286 as a team, for an 852 total. Texas shot a 289 for an 877. The Longhorns were tied for second with Stanford, while Oklahoma was fourth with an 880 score.
OSU's Matthew Wolfe was the tournament's individual leader. He shot a 70 on Sunday for a 209 tournament score. That was two strokes better than teammate Ausitn Eckroat, who shot a third-round 73 for a 211 score.
Patrick Welch lead OU individuals after Sunday's round with a 72 on Sunday and a 216 tournament score. He is in 10th place overall.
