Tom Bates, Interim Commissioner of the Oklahoma State Department of Health explains what the approved medical marijuana rules mean for Oklahoma and clarifies what changes the State Board of Health made to the proposed rules before approving them. The board voted to approve amended rules that ban the sale of smokeable marijuana and require board certified pharmacists to operate marijuana dispensaries.
