Development continues along Interstate 35 in Edmond and City officials consider their portion of the interstate corridor to be a major source of tax revenue, but some are wary of the growth. Now hospitals are expanding, developers are buying land to bring in upscale retailers along with high-density living while the Oklahoma Department of Transportation closely watches frontage roads and growth.
